“We make technical goods that outperform and outsustain, using less. With the help of groundbreaking material science, we are transforming the world of apparel and ushering in a new era of sustainability focused on personal energy usage. This is the future of fabric.”
LifeLabs was a hard and fast journey into the Silicon Valley start-up world. I was honored to be recruited by the outdoor industry’s top scientists, designers, and product developers to bring a new era of textile science to life. As the women’s designer, I designed collections of outerwear, lifestyle, sleep, and recreation. The vision of a futuristic simplicity pushed me to hone in on my design skills and chase after a firm mantra of “weniger, aber besser” Less but Better.
Although we didn’t get to bring LifeLabs to the full market potential, I am eternally grateful for how it pushed the way a see design, sustainability, and the world as a whole.
