Ello, I’m Elsa

As an apparel & product designer, I work on the firm foundation that fashion should never be compromised for function. I was born & raised in the heart of Crested Butte, CO. inside of my mum’s ski shop- Butte & Co. The biggest lesson I learned in that little shop is simple- Skiing and snowboarding were created for one thing and one thing only: Fun. So, why not bring the fun back? I work to allow the rider who loves to rip round the mountain to still look fresh in the process. Whether that be from creating the ultimate kit or hand drawing a pair of custom mitts- my principal has remained the same. I work to bring the sex-appeal out of Suzy Chaffee, Wayne Wong, and the Lang Girls of the 70s back to life. 

In the last few years I have had the pleasure and working and designing alongside some incredible companies and individuals that allowed me to cultivate life-long relationships beyond just the project at hand. And that to me is why I do what I do.
